Our company was founded in 1967 by Edward Birenbaum – “Mr.B” to many. Eddy was a Polish immigrant and survivor of the Holocaust who set out to serve the garment industry with pantyhose and shirt stiffeners.
In the late 1980s, the company transitioned to square sheets for the printing and packaging industries. Not long after, Mr.B’s daughter, Mala Balshine took over leadership in the 1990s.
Today, Atlas Paper is helmed by Geoff Crampton, a third-generation member of Eddy Birenbaum’s family. Under Geoff’s guidance, the company serves clients in the North East with its expertise in paper and paperboard products.
Most importantly, Atlas Paper continues to be known for its outstanding service – something Mr.B would be proud of.
